The medal of the Little Rosary carries her likeness. On the reverse is seen the Sacred Heart, to which she had great devotion; a pair of wings, her private symbol of the spiritual life; the Crucifix, of which she has said; "My book will be the Crucifix. I will always keep it before my eyes to learn how to love and to suffer."
Despite discomfort and inconvenience, Mother Cabrini crossed the ocean twenty-five times, in furtherance of her works. As a notation of this, the Little Rosary contains twenty-five beads.
It is suggested to those using the Little Rosary in her honor to repeat on each bead the Hail Mary and to repeat after each five beads this aspiration:
O my Savior, hear Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini plead for me.
